International Conference on Alternative Economics - an online conference on 23rd &24 th December 202

The Department of Economics MUA College, Pulikkal has conducted an online conference on 23rd &24 th December 2021 in collaborating with Kerala State Higher Education Council, Inter University Center for Alternative Economics, Department of Economics, Kerala University and Department of Economics SAFI Institute of Advanced study. The inauguration of the seminar was done by Dr. Sayyid Muhammed Shakir, Principal, MUA College Pulikkal.Prof.KP Abdul Rasheed IQAC Coordinator MUA College Pulikkal chaired the function. Prof.EP Imbichikoya Principal SAFI institute of advanced study participated as the Chief guest.dr. shafeeque V research officer kerala state higher education council delivered the felicitation.the inaugural session came in to an end by the vote of thanks delivered by Muhammed Jamsheer P,Assistant Professor, department of economics MUA College Pulikkal.
The first technical session started 3.00 pm. Ms.Saeeda .Pilathottathil chaired the session.the first presentation was done by Dr.Kaleem Alam, faculty, Islamic economics Institute, King Abdul Aziz University Saudi Arabia on the topic is crypto currency is a currency or product? he made a detailed presentation on the topic with explanation. The second presentation was made by Dr.Zahra Al-nasser on the topic Covid 19 and effect of corporate governance in Saudi Arabia. Both of the two sessions were highly effective and exploring knowledge.the session came in to an end by vote of thanks delivered by Ramees PK,Assistant Professor ,Department of Islamic Finance, MUA College Pulikkal.
The second technical session was on 24 December 2021. Mr. Mohammed Jamsheer P, Assistant Professor, department of economics MUA College Pulikkal delivered the vote of thanks.Mr. Jaseem V, HoD, Department of Economics,SAFI Institute of Advanced Studies chaired the session. The first presentation was done by Mr.siddik R Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, and University of Kerala on the topic Law and Economics for Development. the second presentation was on the topic role of Islamic finance in sustainable development done by Syilva Parlina, Researcher and professional at Islamic relief worldwide, scholar of Islamic finance, University of Dundee, UK. The session came in to an end by the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Ibrahim PK, HoD, Department of Economics, MUA College Pulikkal.
