Alumni Talk :Series 1
On January 1, 2025, Madeenathul Uloom Arabic College, Pulikkal, hosted an inspiring alumni talk titled “Gateway to Central Universities” at 1:30 PM in the seminar hall. Organized by the Career Guidance and Placement Cell in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), the event aimed to guide students aspiring for higher education at India’s prestigious central universities. The program commenced with a warm welcome address by
Dr. Shafeeq C.P., Coordinator of the Career Guidance and Placement Cell, who highlighted the significance of central universities in providing a transformative academic environment. Dr. Muhammed Basheer C.K., Coordinator of IQAC, chaired the session, emphasizing the importance of alumni contributions in bridging academic goals with real-world experiences.
The program was inaugurated by Prof. Abdu Rasheed K.P., Principal of the college, who underlined the diverse opportunities central universities offer for intellectual growth and cultural enrichment. The key sessions were led by three distinguished alumni: Mr. Muhammed Fabin K. (MA Arabic, EFLU, Hyderabad), who shared insights into EFLU’s admission processes and academic offerings; Mr. Yaseen Ashraf (MA Arabic, MANUU, Lucknow), who discussed the value of interdisciplinary learning and practical strategies for entrance exams; and Mr. Afeef Muhammed (B.Ed., AMU, Murshidabad), who provided tips on time management and leveraging resources effectively.
The program included a felicitation session where Dr. Muathasim Billah, along with other esteemed faculty members, including Dr. Sabir Navas C.M., Dr. Muhammed Aman K., congratulated the alumni on their accomplishments and encouraged students to aim high in their academic endeavors. Their words of encouragement resonated with the attendees, inspiring them to consider central universities as gateways to success. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Raheeb Thotathil, who expressed gratitude to the resource persons, faculty, and participants, as well as appreciation for the organizers’ efforts. The talk was a remarkable success, equipping students with valuable insights and motivation to pursue their aspirations in central universities.
